Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness, comfort, and guest satisfaction.

This role plays a vital part in creating a positive guest experience by ensuring rooms are clean, well-stocked, and welcoming.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to hotel brand standards

* Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and amenities

* Clean bathrooms, mirrors, furniture, floors, and fixtures

* Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop guest rooms and corridors

* Restock room supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and linens

* Remove trash, dirty linens, and room service items

* Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost and found items

* Ensure housekeeping carts and storage areas are clean and organized

* Follow all safety, sanitation, and brand standards

* Respond promptly to guest requests when needed

Qualifications

* Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

* Ability to stand, bend, push, and lift up to 40 lbs

* Reliable attendance and punctuality

* Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

* Team-oriented with positive attitude

Preferred Skills

* Hotel housekeeping experience

* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment

* Ability to work independently and efficiently

* Basic English communication skills

Physical Requirements

* Prolonged standing and walking

* Frequent bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling

* Ability to push housekeeping carts and lift linens/supplies
