Banquet Manager
Compensation: $60,000 to $65,000 per year plus bonus, Full-Time Day or Evening Shifts
OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Banquet Manager to oversee all banquet operations for the Wildbirch Hotel. The ideal candidate will ensure coordination across departments for a guest experience that is seamlessly executed.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and manage banquet events, including large tours groups, celebrations of life, conferences, and private functions
- Coordinate with clients to understand event requirements, menus, and timelines
- Supervise banquet staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
- Ensure proper setup, service, and breakdown of events according to standards
- Work closely with kitchen and catering teams to ensure timely food service
- Monitor event execution and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service quality
- Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment related to banquet operations
- Oversee billing, budgeting, and cost control for events
- Proven experience in banquets preferably in hotels
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Must have attention to detail
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations and event planning
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods and handle physically demanding tasks when needed
