The Department of Family & Community Services is recruiting for a Human Resource Consultant 2 in Anchorage! This position is open to All Alaska Residents. What You Will Be DoingThis position serves as the Talent Acquisition Supervisor for the Department of Family and Community Services, providing oversight of the Talent Acquisition team to ensure recruitment processes are being properly executed and following personnel rules. Duties include providing professional level Human Resource Consultation consisting of supervision and execution of the State of Alaska’s recruitment program. As part of the Talent Acquisition (TA) Team, your primary role will be to manage recruitment efforts of positions within the Department of Family and Community Services (DFCS).
You will function as a hiring manager, working to streamline recruitment processes, enhance candidate experience, and cultivate a diverse and inclusive workforce that reflects our core values. You will be able to ensure a candidate centric recruitment for new employees and represent the department at recruitment events.
We work closely with the Recruitment Services Team and our Human Resource Business Partners on a variety of Human Resources functions.
