is looking for a Recruitment Human Resource Consultant 1 located in Juneau or Anchorage to help us

Pay will be based on the location of selected applicant:

Anchorage: $31.66 Hourly

Juneau: $33.24 Hourly

What you will be doing:

In this position, the incumbent will oversee, develop, and implement training on recruitment services to all DOT recruitment staff, division recruitment coordinators, and hiring managers; serve as the NEOGOV troubleshooter for both recruitment staff and applicants; review and recommend Advanced Step Placements and Nexus determinations; provide consultation to department staff in addressing recruitment, selection, and retention issues such as effective recruitment strategies and legally defensible selection;

and provide backup recruitment services for staff when necessary for hire approvals, postings, extensions, questions, and guidance

The working environment you can expect:

This position can be located in either our Anchorage or Juneau office.

Our office in Juneau is conveniently located at 3.5 mile, next to SEARHC and close to DIPAC Macaulay Salmon Hatchery, a central location with plenty of parking and a view of the channel.

Our Anchorage location is located along E Tudor Road, in an established and convenient area of the city. The surrounding neighborhood offers a mix of businesses, services, residential communities, and everyday amenities, making it easy to take care of errands or grab a meal before or after work.
