Talent Acquisition Strategist​/Senior Recruiter

Nuvision Federal Credit Union is seeking a strategic Talent Acquisition Strategist/Senior Recruiter based in Alaska (onsite) to help attract, select, and retain high-quality talent aligned to growth, culture, regulatory requirements, and workforce plans.

This role combines talent strategy with measurable hiring results, using market intelligence, recruiting analytics, employer brand, and candidate experience to strengthen long-term talent health. The position offers a salary range of USD 91, per year

• Own full-cycle recruiting for exempt, nonexempt, and specialized roles using structured, compliant, and data-informed selection practices.
• Partner with business leaders on hiring strategy, workforce planning assumptions, talent-market realities, and role design for complex, strategic positions.
• Advise hiring managers on compensation positioning, interview calibration, offer strategy, and market competitiveness in collaboration with Compensation and People Services leadership.
• Build proactive sourcing and talent-pipeline strategies for critical roles, future needs, and merger-related growth.
• Use recruiting analytics and business data to improve pipeline health, quality of hire, time to fill, source effectiveness, and recruiting ROI.
• Deliver a differentiated candidate and new-hire experience with support from hiring managers, People team partners, and onboarding stakeholders.
• Support employer brand and talent marketing by developing and executing recruitment campaigns, social media strategies, and digital talent marketing initiatives aligned to priority talent segments.
• Drive talent engagement through community outreach, strategic partnerships with educational and workforce organizations, networking events, and employee referral programs.
• Ensure hiring practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and internal governance requirements across multiple states.
• Monitor agency usage, temporary labor activity, and external recruiting spend, recommending cost-reduction and outcome-improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, including AI-enabled recruiting capabilities and process redesign efforts that enhance recruiting effectiveness and scalability.
• Represent the Credit Union professionally and maintain confidentiality for member, team members, and other sensitive information; treat coworkers and members with respect.
• Support member relations and events that promote member-centric experiences.

• 5–7 years of progressive full-cycle recruiting experience with demonstrated success partnering directly with business leaders on hiring strategy, market insights, and candidate quality.
• Experience hiring across multiple states and/or in regulated environments

• Advanced knowledge of recruiting trends and strategies, labor market dynamics, candidate assessment design, and compliant hiring practices.
• Working knowledge and understanding of state (multi-state) and federal employment and labor laws, including but not limited to EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Titles VII & IX, Affimative Action
  , and other DOL regulations, along with HR policies, practices, and principles.
• Demonstrated understanding of AI-enabled recruiting capabilities and related governance considerations.
• Strong consulting, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to challenge constructively and guide hiring decisions.
