As an Alaska Technician, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance, installation, and support of business customer networks and technology environments, both remote and onsite.

- Supports end‑user customers via phone, remote session, and onsite for any technology issues as required.
- Troubleshoots, maintains, and implements customer networks, servers and other technology equipment as required.
- Act as the Primary Field Technician for our Alaska clients, including technical support and customer service visits.
What You Bring:
- 2‑4 years of technician experience.
- Experience working with IT networks and systems, advanced network environments, Microsoft environments including Azure is preferred.

Job Duties- Works with clients to evaluate and solve technical problems.
- Configures and supports internal and external networks.
- Troubleshoots all aspects of network performance.
- Maintains documentation, time, and completes notes on work performed and changes to client systems.
- Works with the client to ensure all work is completed to the client’s satisfaction.
- Assists other Engineers on projects when needed.
- Configures standard POP, SMTP & Exchange clients including Outlook.
- Understands and can install, configure, and test workstation hardware, including video cards, NICs, sound cards, hard drives, and PDAs.
- Performs administration work, including adding and removing users and groups, configuring file permissions, checking event logs, and configuring and restoring data from backup.
- Administers enterprise e‑mail application, including adding and removing users and groups.
- Configures folder permissions if applicable, forwards mail to other accounts, and adds aliases.
- Takes ownership of tasks and follows through to ensure complete resolution.
- Takes a personal interest in and responsibility for the quality of work performed.
- Pays close attention to detail while performing technically detailed tasks.
- Performs effectively in stressful situations.
- Recognizes when it is necessary to ask for technical expertise from others without unnecessarily burdening other team members.
- Provides accurate time estimates for the duration of a task.
