Digital Marketing Specialist

Role Overview

The Digital Marketing Specialist develops and executes digital content and campaigns across social media, web, and email channels to support conservation initiatives in the Western U.S. and Canada.

• Create, manage, and analyze social media content and campaigns on platforms like Linked In, Facebook, and Instagram.
• Update and optimize website content for accessibility, SEO, and user experience.
• Develop digital content aligned with organizational priorities, values, and brand voice.
• Engage online communities, build relationships, and expand audience influence.
• Track metrics, analyze trends, and recommend strategy improvements.
• Collaborate with teams and stakeholders, coordinate editorial calendars, and support email campaigns.
• Manage projects within budget, work independently, and coordinate with vendors.
• Occasional travel for meetings, events, and training.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Proven ability in social media management, web content creation, and digital marketing best practices.
• Experience with social media tools (e.g., Sprout Social), design software (e.g., Canva), and content management systems (e.g., AEM).
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple projects.
• Excellent written communication, relationship management, and analytical skills.
• Preferred experience in multicultural marketing, SEO, UX, and multimedia content editing.
