- Client Advising:
Provide expert advice to employers on employee benefit options and tailored solutions based on their specific needs. - Plan Evaluation:
Review and assess current employee benefit plans, ensuring they align with the latest industry standards and employer goals. - Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and open communication. - Market Research:
Stay informed on the latest trends in the insurance industry to provide clients with competitive and comprehensive benefits packages. - Compliance Assurance:
Ensure all proposed and existing benefit plans comply with current federal and state regulations. - Problem Solving:
Address client concerns, provide solutions, and facilitate the implementation of benefit plan changes effectively.
- Experience:
Proven experience in employee benefits consulting or a related field. - Knowledge:
Strong understanding of various employee benefit plans, including health insurance, group life, and other ancillary benefits. - Communication
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction and consultation. - Analytical
Skills:
Ability to analyze complex data and provide clear insights and recommendations. - Problem‑Solving:
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to offer effective solutions to clients' needs. - Interpersonal
Skills:
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members. - Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred. - Licensing:
Relevant insurance licenses in the state of Alaska are advantageous.
