Supply Chain Manager
Reports To:Director of Operations
Position SummaryThe Supply Chain Managerprovidesleadershipandoversightforthe Supply Chain Department ,includingprocurement,warehouse operations,logistics,inventory management,andmaterialreadiness.
Thisroleensuresmaterialsandservicesaredeliveredsafely,efficiently,andcost-effectivelytosupportcompanyoperationsandprojectexecutionwhiledevelopinghigh-performingteamsanddrivingcontinuousimprovement.
Department Leadership
- Leadandmanageall Supply Chain operations ,including
Procurement,Warehouse,and Logistics. - Establishdepartmentpriorities,goals,andoperatingstandardsalignedwithcompanyobjectives.
- Manage staffing,workload planning,budgeting,andresourceallocation.
- Fosteracultureofsafety,accountability,teamwork,andcontinuousimprovement.
- Overseepurchasingactivities,supplier relationships,contract compliance,andprocurementprocesses.
- Ensuretimelyprocurementofmaterialsandserviceswhilemaintainingcost,quality,andscheduleobjectives.
- Resumesupplierperformance,pricing,availability,anddeliveryissues.
- Maintainpurchasingcontrolsandcompliancewithcompanypolicies.
- Provideoversightofwarehouseoperations,inventory management,receiving,storage,shipping,andmaterialhandling.
- Ensurematerialsareaccuratelytracked,protected,andavailabletosupportprojectschedules.
- Overseelogisticsplanning,freight coordination,andtransportationactivities.
- Monitorinventorylevelsandsupportmaterialcontrolandreconciliationefforts.
- Partner with Project Management ,Engineering,Operations,Finance,andField
Servicestoensurematerialreadiness. - Communicatesupplychainstatus,risks,andmaterialavailabilitytoprojectstakeholders.
- Resolvesupplychainissuesthatmayimpactprojectcost,schedule,or execution.
- Recruit,mentor,coach,and develop
Supply
Chain personnel. - Conductperformanceevaluationsandsupportemployeedevelopment.
- Developandimprovesupplychainprocesses,procedures,and documentation.
- Identifyopportunitiestoimproveefficiency,quality,cost control,andcustomerservice.
Education
Bachelor'sdegreein
Supply Chain Management ,Business,Logistics,Operations,orarelatedfield,oranequivalentcombinationofeducationandexperience.
- Seven(7) ormoreyearsofprogressivelyresponsibleexperienceinsupplychain,procurement,logistics,warehouse operations,or construction/project support.
- Previousleadershipormanagementexperienceoverseeingsupplychainteams.
- Experiencesupportingproject-basedoperationsandcross-functional teams.
- Strongknowledgeofprocurement,inventory management,warehouse operations,logistics,andsuppliermanagement.
- Excellent leadership,communication,organizational,and problem-solving skills.
- ExperiencewithERP,inventory management,and Microsoſt
Office applications. - Abilitytomanagemultipleprioritieswhilebalancingcost,quality,safety,and schedule.
- Primarily office-basedwithregularinteractioninwarehouse,yard,vendor,andprojectenvironments.
- Occasionaltraveltoprojectsitesorvendorlocationsmayberequired.
- Mustmaintainahighlevelofprofessionalism,responsiveness,andcommitmenttocompanysafetystandards.
