HDR seeks a strategic‑minded Project Manager to join its Alaska Resources Business Group and be a member of a high‑performing team supporting development of public and private projects throughout Alaska.
Primary Responsibilities- Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams.
- Oversee all phases of project development ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop and review scopes of work, cost estimates, and schedules.
- Implement QA/QC procedures.
- Coordinate internal project tasks and manage external subconsultants to meet project objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring expectations are met or exceeded.
- Ensure coordination of deliverables and consistent communication between team members.
- Conduct team meetings to discuss productivity, workload distribution, and quality control.
- Collaborate with HDR leadership to monitor project workload and resource needs.
- Work with the Accounting, Operational, and Business leadership for periodic project reviews.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Candidates must be able to work cooperatively with professionals from other disciplines, staff at all levels, clients, other project managers, business development professionals, and operational leadership.

Preferred Qualifications- Advanced degree and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience leading engineering and/or environmental regulatory projects.
- Familiarity with estimating and scheduling software, and project management software.
- Local candidates are preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 7 years of related experience.
- At least 2 years of project management experience.
- Ability to interact with various design teams and strong written and verbal communication skills.
