This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the top law firms in the U.S.! Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is looking for a Manager, Applications Development & Engineering to join our team in our Seattle, Portland, Anchorage, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, or Washington D.C. offices. This position offers the flexibility to be fully remote while working within reasonable commuting distance from any of our offices.
This position manages the development teams delivering strategic legal applications and overseeing delivery processes. We value entrepreneurial self-starters who bring innovative solutions to the table. On a typical day you will:
- Oversee multiple development teams, ensuring ROI-aligned delivery.
- Define KPIs, budgets, and SLAs for application portfolio.
- Implement and maintain Dev Ops, CI/CD, and quality frameworks.
- Mentor and hire top engineering talent.
- Liaise between IT and business to align technical strategy.
Join us if you have:
- 10+ years in software delivery
- 3+ years in managerial roles
- Bachelor's degree; MBA or technical master's a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in: computer science, software engineering, information technology, information systems, computer engineering, or a related technical/STEM field
- Deep understanding of Dev Ops, Agile, cloud architecture.
- Experience in technology budgeting and portfolio management.
- Proven leadership and conflict resolution skills.
