Role Overview

Would you like to work with cutting-edge oilfield equipment? Join our Artificial Lift team and help deliver high-quality service and reliability to our customers. As a CWI AMO Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and maintaining complex components and equipment in compliance with engineering standards and Baker Hughes quality requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Assembling complex components in accordance with assembly drawings and bills of material (BOMs).
  • Performing functional testing and validation of assemblies as per customer and internal standards.
  • Operating and maintaining test equipment in compliance with engineering and safety standards.
  • Applying settings, calibrating, and maintaining assembly tools and equipment.
  • Performing torqueing operations on mechanical components to specified standards.
  • Utilizing forklifts and other departmental equipment, machines, and tools safely and effectively.
  • Supporting quality processes, including raising and distributing Quality Notifications (QNs).
  • Ensuring compliance with Baker Hughes quality, safety, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborating with team members to improve efficiency, reliability, and product performance.
  • Demonstrating a desire to lead and support team efforts on the shop floor.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree (preferred) or equivalent technical qualification.
  • 1+ years of experience in assembly, maintenance, or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical or diesel mechanic background.
  • Prior experience in the oil & gas industry (preferred/required).
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, assembly and test equipment, and material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good attention to detail and quality focus.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Work Schedule

This role follows a rotational schedule of 21 days on / 21 days off with 12-hour shifts.
