Resident Monitor

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Local nonprofit organization serving Anchorage’s homeless or individuals in need of support. The facility provides residential substance abuse treatment.

This role offers an opportunity to gain experience in health and human services, nonprofits, or related fields, and may suit someone transitioning from personal care or security roles.

• Supervise residents living in the facility to support treatment outcomes in coordination with clinical and operational staff.
• Perform data entry, prepare paperwork, conduct client intakes, document client behaviors, and assist with operational functions and scheduling.
• Maintain a non-security stance; role does not involve engaging with hostile or aggressive behavior. Monitor behaviors and report findings.

• Pay: $16.00 per hour to start

• Two shifts available: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM and 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of experience in clerical or data entry work
• Outgoing customer service attitude
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
