Verovian Nursing Agency is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Labor and Delivery team in Anchorage, Alaska. As an RN in this specialized unit, you will provide compassionate care to expectant mothers during one of the most critical times in their lives.

Job specification

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers in labor and delivery, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
• Work closely with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on the labor process, pain management options, and postpartum care.
• Assist in emergency procedures, such as cesarean sections, and provide care in high-risk situations.

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• 1-2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery preferred.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and ACLS certification are preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and move patients as needed, and perform duties in a potentially stressful and emotionally charged environment.
