Employment: Full-time preferred; part-time options available
You will be responsible for:
Completing comprehensive medical assessments, including initial H&Ps within 24 hours of admission
Conducting ongoing medical follow-ups and developing patient-specific treatment plans
Managing discharge planning in coordination with the clinical team
Collaborating closely with behavioral health providers to co-manage medically complex patients
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and providing medical consults
Delivering emergency interventions within your scope until specialty care is accessible
Educating patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and health maintenance
Active Alaska NP/APRN license or the ability to obtain one
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
AANPCB Board Certification
Minimum 1 year of NP experience in inpatient, acute care, or hospitalist settings (behavioral health experience preferred)
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and dedication to patient-centered care
