Description:

The Cath Lab RN will provide care in a dynamic cardiac environment.
The role involves circulating procedures and overseeing patient care during interventional procedures.
On call is required one day per week and during the 4th/5th weekend.
The position requires approximately one Saturday per month as part of the scheduled shifts.
Floating may occur within the department to meet facility needs.
The RN will monitor and manage patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
The ideal candidate must be skilled in activated clotting time, angioplasty, cardiac stenting, and various catheterization techniques.
They should also be familiar with IV infusion pumps, medication administration, and patient assessment.
Travelers are expected to work two out of three major holidays:
Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
References are required to demonstrate prior relevant experience.
Candidates should have a permanent address that is at least 50 miles from the facility.
Pre-approved time off is allowed on an individual basis.
Overall, the position demands a high level of collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
