Responsibilities:

• The ideal Registered Nurse (RN) - ED/ER provides the analytical ability to solve all clinical nursing issues and conduct quality improvement research utilization projects.
• Exhibit organizational skills in setting priorities and efficiently completing assigned work in addition to delegating appropriate patient care activities.
• Basic computer proficiency inclusive of ability to access, enters, and interpret computerized data/information.
• Effective interpersonal skills to facilitate communication with various members of the health care team, patients, and families.
• Physical ability to meet the core job responsibilities in accordance with practice setting demands for the patient populations regularly served.

• Associates Degree in Nursing (ASN) OR BSN, preferred. Candidates who do not have BSN, must complete BSN within 36 months.
• Current RN License within the state of AK or the ability to obtain prior to hire.
• BLS Certification
• At least 1-year of ED experience
