Overview
Registered Nurse (RN) | Nurse Manager
Location: Sitka, AK
Agency: Cynet Health
Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details)
Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours
Start Date: 6/1/2026
- Lead the Specialty Clinic team, coaching, staffing, and building a culture of safety, quality, and respect.
- Partner with leadership to optimize schedules, referrals, and patient access.
- Standardize and improve workflows to enhance throughput, reduce wait times, and strengthen the patient experience.
- Ensure clinical policies, procedures, and competencies are current, understood, and consistently followed.
- Monitor key metrics and drive continuous improvement; champion patient safety and regulatory readiness in the ambulatory environment.
- Provide day-to-day leadership and mentoring to clinic staff to proactively reduce barriers to access; identify and correct staff or clinic flow issues.
- Mentor staff and solicit feedback from nursing, clinic staff, and providers; hold regular clinic meetings to promote engagement and improve quality, safety, efficiency, and patient experience.
- Act as an overall clinic leader to improve specialty service delivery; recruit, orient, and mentor staff with opportunities for professional growth.
- Orient personnel to new policies, procedures, and equipment; address employee relations issues in a timely manner with appropriate leadership support.
- Direct and supervise nursing and clinic staff in patient assessment, evaluation, and treatment to ensure high-quality care; oversee annual competencies for all nursing and clinic staff.
- Ensure readiness for quality standards and compliance with established policies and processes; maintain clinic supplies and recommend purchases of new or replacement equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including special projects necessary for comprehensive health services.
- Active RN license in the U.S. (Alaska or ability to obtain).
- 5+ years of varied RN experience, including 1 year in ambulatory care and 2+ years in supervisory/managerial roles.
- Certifications:
Active BLS. - Strong strengths in team leadership, change management, and service excellence.
