Our House Supervisor (RN) is responsible for the nursing leadership and coordination of assigned nursing personnel. This position ensures the delivery of quality nursing care by managing and supervising the staff providing direct care. The role serves actively and constructively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team in support of the organization and program treatment philosophy to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
Shift: PRN - 12 hour Shifts
Key ResponsibilitiesLeads the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care services, demonstrating clinical expertise and ensuring a therapeutic environment.
Ensures efficient staffing based on patient census and acuity, coordinating with the Scheduling Manager and facilitating admissions and discharges for optimal throughput.
Monitors patient progress, making recommendations in line with treatment plans, and addresses medical/nursing needs to enhance patient care.
Provides clinical supervision, guides mental health specialists and nurses in patient care responsibilities, and offers constructive feedback to reinforce desired behaviors.
Acts as a leader in emergency situations, expedites concerns to senior administrators, and serves as a liaison with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
Manages personnel activities, including staff supervision, orientation, performance evaluations, and employee relations. Assists in HR processes, anticipates staffing needs, and offers proactive solutions.

- Current State of Alaska RN license
- Current CPR or BLS certification, preferred
- Previous RN Supervisory experience
