Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule3x12 Hour Night Shifts (19:00 - 07:30), with required weekend coverage every other weekend.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on high-risk labor and delivery and will utilize advanced nursing techniques to ensure the highest quality of care for mothers and newborns.
Responsibilities- Provide care for expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
- Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs, administering appropriate medications and interventions as needed.
- Assist with high-risk deliveries and triage in the labor and delivery unit.
- Facilitate communication with families and medical staff regarding patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough documentation utilizing electronic health records (Epic).
- Current AK RN license required for auto offer.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, NRP.
- No first-time travelers accepted.
