As a Cath Lab RN, you will assist with a variety of invasive cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures. You will play a vital role in ensuring quality patient care by facilitating communication, managing patient care throughout procedures, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires flexibility, organization, and the ability to function well under pressure. The Cath Lab performs an average of 4-6 procedures per day in 3 rooms.

Procedures include cardiac catheterizations, coronary interventions, EP device and ablation therapies, interventional radiology, neuro diagnostic/interventions, endovascular procedures, and structural Heart (LAAC, TAVR) procedures.

• Assist with all invasive cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures.
• Facilitate effective communication among departmental staff using the SBAR process.
• Assist patients through all aspects of the procedure, including transport, site preparation, sterile procedure, patient monitoring, and hemostasis.
• Manage emergent cases.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient records.
• Prepare tests for physician interpretation.
• Collaborate with team members and assist with orienting staff as needed.

• Required Qualifications:
  
  Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Associate's Degree in Nursing. American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Two to three years of Cath Lab experience. Emergency Room (ER) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience.
• Skills &
  
  Competencies:
  
  Experience circulating in the Cath Lab. Proficient in patient monitoring. Experience with sedation medication, including mixing sedation drips. Clinical competency in cardiac and vascular procedures. Strong nursing judgment and teaching skills. Ability to function well under stressful situations.
