Registered Nurse

A valid and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license is required for practice. Typically, candidates must have completed a degree in nursing to meet the educational standards for this role.

Although not always mandatory, previous experience in home health care or a similar clinical setting is preferred. Most employers look for at least one year of clinical experience.

Registered Nurses in home health must demonstrate strong clinical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Additionally, problem-solving and critical thinking are crucial for effective practice in this field.

Home Health Nurses work in diverse home settings and travel daily to patients’ residences. The position offers significant autonomy, giving nurses flexibility in managing their schedules and patient caseloads.
