This 13-week travel role as an Operating Room RN will fully immerse you in a fast-paced surgical environment known for its advanced technology and diverse case mix. Deepen your experience with procedures such as total joints, neuro, and robotic surgery, expanding your clinical skills and your resume. Exposure to varying leadership styles and best practices, all while collaborating with top-tier OR professionals, ensures both personal and professional development.

Schedule/Hours:
  • Three 12-hour shifts, 6:30AM-7:00PM
  • On-call required:
    Average of 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift per 8 weeks
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
  • Alaska RN License (Required)
  • BLS & ACLS Certifications (Required)
  • Recent OR RN experience (circulator experience a must; scrub experience and CNOR credential preferred)
  • Background in ortho, total joints, neuro, and robotic surgeries
  • Ability to thrive in a team with a positive, flexible approach
Core Responsibilities:
  • Serve as patient advocate in the OR, primarily as circulator
  • Support the clinical team by providing expertise and quick decision-making
  • Prepare, monitor, and maintain state-of-the-art surgical equipment
  • Collaborate on complex procedures including total joints, spine fusions, and robotic surgeries
  • Maintain compliance with all unit guidelines and protocols
