A leading inpatient behavioral health hospital in Anchorage, Alaska, is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our multidisciplinary team. This role focuses on providing medical care for patients aged 5 years to geriatric, admitted for psychiatric and substance-use treatment. Key Responsibilities Perform initial medical assessments and H&Ps within 24 hours of admission Provide follow-up care, diagnostics, and discharge planning Manage medical needs for inpatient psychiatric patients (ages 5+) Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create integrated treatment plans Co-manage patients with complex medical conditions Provide medical consultations and recommend diagnostics and treatment plans Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and wellness strategies Deliver emergency care within scope as needed Qualifications Active Alaska APRN license (or ability to obtain prior to start) Graduate of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program Board certification Prior inpatient or acute care experience preferred Behavioral health experience a plus New graduates encouraged to apply if clinically strong and interested in behavioral health Compensation & Benefits Salary based on experience Comprehensive benefits package including:
