Position Overview

Join the Providence Express Care Anchorage, Alaska team as a full‑time nurse practitioner or physician assistant.

As a mission‑based, community focused service, the clinics provide a perfect work–life balance with a 3‑day week schedule. Express Care serves as a critical access point for the organization, supporting overflow of patients from primary care, urgent care and emergency departments. The role demands critical thinking and clinic‑based procedures. Providers work in person and virtually with a predictable day of 30 twenty‑minute appointments in a 12‑hour period.

This position offers autonomy in practice with a single provider model supported by a medical assistant and a large support structure with a virtual team. Ideal candidates should have at least two years of experience in family practice, urgent care or emergency medicine, possess the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment, and embrace opportunities to respond to community needs as they arise.
