- Diverse patient population including cardiac (CHF, MI, ACS, TAVR, MVR, pacemaker, arrhythmia), respiratory (COVID, flu, COPD, asthma, trach, chronic home vent, high-flow NC, BiPAP), neuro, renal, and complex medical-surgical patients such as ETOH withdrawal and GIB
- Approximately 30% of the patient population is cardiac in nature

- Bedside RN-to-patient ratio is 1:4; CNA ratio is 1:6
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
- Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
- Weekend coverage may be more frequent than every other weekend and is subject to staffing needs
- Floating required to lower-acuity units, renal care, neuro, and med-surg within scope
- No on-call requirements
- Block scheduling is not available
- 13-week contract
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- The virtual RN works remotely and assists with admissions, discharges, rounding, patient education, plans of care, and safety rounds — allowing bedside RNs to focus on direct patient care

- Former permanent employees of this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
