RN - Tele Triage

Description

Provides nursing triage to general public via telephone. Assesses appropriate intervention using nursing process.

• Nursing degree/diploma required upon hire.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or higher within 3 years of hire or equivalent education/experience.
• An RN with 20 years of RN experience will not be required to obtain a BSN.
• Exceptions will be considered on a case‑by‑case basis by the most senior administrative nursing leader in consultation with the Human Resources leader.
• RNs employed prior to 2021 are encouraged to obtain a Bachelor's or higher degree in Nursing, but obtaining the degree will not be a condition of employment.
• Upon hire:
  Alaska Registered Nurse License.
• 1 year recent clinical experience in any of the following suggested areas: home health, tele health, medical-surgical, critical care, emergency, pediatric or maternal‑child health nursing.

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing upon hire.
• 3 years recent clinical experience in any of the following suggested areas: home health, tele health, medical-surgical, critical care, emergency, pediatric or maternal‑child health nursing.
