Responsibilities
Provide skilled nursing care to patients, individualized patient assessment and care, participate in therapeutic activities as facilitator or co-facilitator. Administer medications and educate patients on expected outcomes, side effects, and interactions. Transcribe orders, record medication administration, chart patient behavior and responses. Complete assessments for newly admitted, close observation, or patients needing emergency seclusion or restraint. Determine and prioritize nursing needs. Direct Office Assistant Is and Psychiatric Nurse Assistants I/II/III for assignments and monitor completion and accuracy.
