RN Dialysis PRN

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse in Dialysis/Pheresis at Alaska Regional Hospital, you will provide care to acutely or critically ill patients, supporting a team dedicated to serving others in need.

• Perform patient assessment for vascular access, PICC placement, and troubleshooting.
• Develop protocols based on Standards of Practice.
• Educate staff and contribute to data collection.
• Serve as a consultant working with nursing staff to promote best practice in vascular access.
• Exemplify professional nursing practice through expert clinical work, strong leadership skills, and management activities.

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alaska.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience and IV placement experience.
• Knowledge of specialty equipment and tools:
  Plasmapheresis preferred;
  Dialysis prior experience preferred.
• A red Cross or Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS or ACLS) certified.
