Description
Under direct supervision this position is accountable to the bedside RN and charge nurse to facilitate a safe and secure environment for the patient, family and providers in the department. Duties include completing the tasks delegated to them for the shift and maintaining clear communication between the patient’s needs through the RN and Charge Nurse. These activities focus on maintaining a safe, hazard‑free, clean environment which facilitates patient‑focused care.
Hoursand Shifts
- Full Time (3) 12‑Hour Shifts per week
- Night & Day Shift based on current needs.
- Nights: $4.00/hr
- Weekends: $2.20/hr
Resource Pool / Progressive Care Unit / 3W Ortho / 4N Med Surg / 5N Oncology
Required Qualifications- Coursework/Training and Medical Terminology course or successful completion of hospital medical terminology test within 90 days of hire.
- Within 30 days of hire:
National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.
- Completed training as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
- 6 months of health care experience.
$19.40 – $27.90 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
