Care Management RN - Providence St Elias Specialty Hospital

Overview

We are hiring for a Care Management RN position at Providence St Elias Specialty Hospital in Anchorage, AK. The role is full‑time, 1.0 FTE, Day shift, Monday‑Friday, 8‑hr shifts between the core business hours of 7am to 5pm, 40 hours per week.

• Provide professional, comprehensive, patient‑centric care management services for at‑risk patients in an acute care environment.
• Conduct assessment and planning, coordination of care, resource utilization management and/or review, discharge planning, documentation of interventions, regulatory compliance, and patient advocacy.
• Ensure appropriate use of healthcare resources throughout the continuum to deliver the right care, at the right time, in the right setting.

• Associate's Degree in Nursing or diploma upon hire.
• Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• At least 2 years of acute care experience in a Medical‑Surgical or inpatient setting.
• IRR or annual competency testing in Utilization Review.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or higher within three years of hire.
• National Certification in an area of specialty.
• One year of experience in care management or utilization review, or successful completion of a TIPS program or Case Management Orientation Program.

Pay range: $50.14 - $77.83 per hour. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
