As the Supervisor Clinic RN in a fast‑paced Behavioral Health Walk‑In Clinic, you’ll lead the delivery of immediate, life‑changing care to individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges, guiding both patients and a dedicated clinical team through critical, often urgent moments.
ResponsibilitiesThe Clinical Staff Supervisor coordinates and manages the clinical support staff and the clinical workflows and activities within the clinic. This position functions as an integral member of the clinic leadership team, bringing the professional nursing perspective to the group and upholding the standards of nursing practice. The supervisor oversees the care provided by clinical support staff, initiates efforts to improve the quality and skill levels of the clinical staff members, leads the team to ensure that patient care services are provided efficiently, safely, and timely, and ensures compliance with established clinic policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
- 3 years of direct patient care, preferably in an ambulatory setting.
- Clinical experience in triage principles of patient assessment.
- Experience in delegating nursing responsibilities to licensed and unlicensed personnel, preferably within an ambulatory setting.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field.
- 1 year in a supervisory position, preferably in an ambulatory setting.
