Job Summary

Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR – Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Anchorage, Alaska.

Duration: 13 weeks | 36 hours per week | 12‑hour day shifts.

• ON‑CALL is required.
• Shift: 6:30 AM–7:00 PM Days with on call; swing shifts 9:00 AM–9:30 PM or 11:00 AM–11:30 PM.
• Unit:
  Surgery (OR). Cost Center: 701.
• Unit details: 11 operating rooms, 70 staff members.
• Patient ratios 1:1.
• EMR – EPIC.
• Scheduled daytime and possible weekend on‑call shifts; approximately 4–5 on‑call shifts per 4 weeks.
• Overtime after 8 hours.

• RN licensed in Alaska; AK permanent license required.
• Background check and fingerprint clearance required.
• Experience in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery.
• ACLS and BLS certification.
• Preferred experience in Davinci XI, Vascular, ENT, General, CV Surgery.
• Experience with procedures: THA, TKA, TSA, lumbar and cervical spine, laparoscopic procedures, hysterectomy, abscess I&D, amputations, pediatric dental, CABG, AVR/MVR, mastectomy, etc.
