Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at Baptist Medical Center-Clay in Fleming Island, FL. This is a PRN opportunity with a call requirement, which includes a 40‑minute call response time. The position is self‑scheduled based on department needs and qualifies for a competitive call differential.

• Provide for patient needs as recognized through the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement organization.
• Supervise care provided by supportive personnel and coordinate care provided by ancillary services.
• Include patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care.
• Educate patients/SO/families about their disease process and plan of care.
• Coordinate and prepare assigned room/case, assess patient care needs, and anticipate the needs of the case.
• Serve as the patient’s primary advocate and be responsible for the delivery and documentation of patient care during the intra‑operative period, including verifying patient information, positioning the patient, managing the room, and initiating counts.

• 2–3 years Surgical Services Experience
• 2–3 years Critical Care Nursing Experience

• Associate of Science in Nursing (required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – required
• Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) – preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse – required
