Travel RN – Case Manager | Anchorage, AK | 5x8 Days | Magnet Hospital | Epic REQUIRED

This assignment is ideal for RN Case Managers with strong acute care experience who are comfortable managing large caseloads and coordinating multidisciplinary care plans in a fast-paced environment.

• 13‑week contract
• Day shift 5x8
• Typical shifts between 07:00–17:00
• Monday–Friday schedule with weekend rotation (every other)
• Floating required within case management services
• No call required

Travel rates vary based on market demand and facility needs. Compensation may include taxable hourly wages and tax‑free stipends.

• Coordinate discharge planning and transitions of care
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, social services, and therapy
• Utilize Milliman guidelines and regulatory standards
• Facilitate DME coordination and post-acute care placement
• Ensure compliance with CMS and HIPAA guidelines
• Document care using Epic EMR

• Magnet‑designated acute care hospital
• Level II Trauma Center
• 400+ staffed beds
• High‑volume inpatient case management department
• Epic charting system

• Acute care hospital RN experience REQUIRED
• Case Management experience REQUIRED
• Epic charting experience REQUIRED
• Active Alaska RN license REQUIRED at submission
• BLS certification required
• Ability to manage high patient caseloads (approx. 1:50)
• Must be willing to float within case management services
• Must meet 50‑mile radius rule (no locals)
• RTO must be submitted at time of submission (1 request max)
• Must be willing to work weekends as required
• First‑time travelers accepted
• ACM certification preferred
• Only 1 submission allowed within region
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• Return staff must wait 3 months before returning
• Max assignment 1 year, then 6‑month break required
• Hepatitis B vaccine required (no titers/declinations)
• Modules non‑billable (avg 16 hours)
