As an RN Infusion Nurse at Pure Infusion, you will support our doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. The position requires you to be comfortable with infusion and working by yourself alongside office staff. You will specialize in the administration of IV therapy treatments for patients with autoimmune disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for providing direct patient care administering biologics and other infusible or injectable medications as ordered, and providing appropriate patient education.
- Start and discontinue IV for infusion therapies.
- Establish PIV access.
- Access PIV & ports.
- Prepare medications (mixing) and administer medications.
- Triage infusion patient inquiries.
- Ability to travel to other location(s) on occasion.
- Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance care delivery, offering suggestions and assistance towards continuous quality improvement of patient care.
- Adhere to standards of safety and infection control in the delivery of patient care.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of and comply with all policies and procedures related to the performance of job duties.
- Minimum 1-2 years nursing experience.
- Comprehensive Nursing Assessment.
- Excellent patient assessment and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinic operations.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Eager to learn and grow with the rapidly expanding organization.
- Ability to collaborate with others and offer outstanding customer service.
- RN Degree, BSN Preferred.
- Current nursing license for applicable state.
- BLS Certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to meet U.S. employment and eligibility requirements.
The pay range for this role is: 50 - 60 USD per hour (Pure Infusion of Anchorage).
