The Central Telemetry Monitoring RN will sit in the Central Monitoring Unit and dually monitor early deterioration detection of IMU & CVIMU patients (up to 30 patients per nurse) along with monitoring ED Hold patients, offsite ED patients and OB ED patients (if needed) for the inpatient side (up to 15 patients per nurse).
- 2 Central Telemetry Monitoring RNs per shift
- PT (7a-7p); 3 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule
- Critical Care RN experience required
- Ability to read EKGs
- BSN because of Magnet status
- Early deterioration pathway = Monitor, Escalate, Follow up, continue to monitor
- This role DOES NOT involve any bedside care

Minimum QualificationsEducation: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing;
Bachelor of Nursing preferred.
Licenses/Certifications: Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing. Certified in Basic Life Support. Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements.
