RN Nurse, Obstetrics, Emergency Medicine, Nurse Practitioner
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse needed for a high-risk unit. Position is primarily for night shifts. May require rotation to day shifts every 4 weeks based on facility needs. Candidates must have an active RN license to qualify. Pending licenses accepted during the application process, provided the active license is received for auto offer. Time off requests will be evaluated on an individual basis.
Must be willing to work every other weekend. The unit typically sees an average of 7 deliveries daily, with high-risk patients included. The facility has 10 OB Triage Rooms, 10 Labor Delivery Recovery Rooms, 3 Operating Room suites, and 4 PACU rooms. Staff will support patients during various phases of labor and delivery processes. Knowledge of Epic charting system is required.
Experience with charge duties is preferred or a willingness to be trained is acceptable. Successful candidates will support interdisciplinary teams and assist with both routine and high-risk deliveries. Professionals will be required to adhere to all standard precautions and emergency protocols.
