Description:
Facility information:
Emergency Department with a patient capacity of 20. The unit consists of approximately 50 staff members, including Charge RNs, Flow Coordinators, RNs, ED Techs, and Ultrasound Techs. The typical night shift has one Charge RN, four RNs, one Tech, and one Ultrasound Tech. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 4:1, with an exception for low acuity cases which can be 6:1. The types of equipment utilized include Lucas, Level 1, Alaris IV pumps, IStat, EPOC, and GE monitors.
The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system in use is EPIC. Candidates with experience in Stroke and STEMI care are preferred. Experience with Trauma and Pediatrics is also desirable. Typical procedures performed include splinting and administering breathing treatments. Ideal candidates exhibit flexibility, transparency, positivity, and a team-oriented attitude. Rotating weekends are required. Dress code consists of navy blue scrubs in appropriate fit.
