Registered Nurse

Looking for a Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse. The assignment length is 13 weeks. Shifts are 3x12-hour night shifts. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend coverage may be required. Nurses may float to other similar units based on facility needs. Guaranteed hours are 60 per two weeks. Travelers may be called off for one 12-hour shift every two weeks. The unit utilizes a Co-Care/Virtual Nursing Model.

For every patient, there is one bedside RN, one virtual RN, and one CNA. The bedside RN and CNA patient ratio is 1:6. The virtual nurse assists with various administrative and patient care tasks. Patient diagnoses include surgical and medical conditions. Nurses are expected to manage dysrhythmias and provide non-invasive airway management. Additional interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, and social services.

Travelers may be required to float between facilities. References covering at least one year of experience are required. Must be prepared to work three of the five major holidays. Please ensure all time-off requests are made upfront during submittal. Inflexibility beyond the contracted schedule may result in contract termination.
