Endo Tech

Alaska Digestive Center, an outpatient endoscopy and ambulatory surgery center in Anchorage, seeks an Endo Tech to support colonoscopies and upper endoscopies. In this patient-centered role, you will prepare procedure rooms, set up and operate endoscopy equipment, assist gastroenterologists during cases, and monitor patient comfort and safety. Responsibilities include scope cleaning and reprocessing, strict adherence to infection control, accurate documentation, and efficient room turnover.

Responsibilities

• Prepare endoscopy suites, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
• Assist gastroenterologists during colonoscopies and upper endoscopies.
• Monitor and document patient status before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintain strict infection control and sterile processing standards.
• Clean, reprocess, and store scopes and instruments per protocol.
• Support patient comfort, positioning, and safe transport.
• Perform room turnover efficiently between procedures.
• Accurately document procedures, supplies, and patient information.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and staff to ensure patient-centered care.
• Participate in safety checks, quality initiatives, and ongoing training.
