Registered Nurse – CVOR

Anchorage, AK | Acute Care

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (40 Hours/Week) | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting within a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma acute care hospital
• Utilize Epic for clinical documentation and charting
• Participate in on-call and weekend on-call rotations as required
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs, including potential float to nearby sister facilities
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays:
  Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Complete required facility modules prior to and during orientation

• Active Alaska RN License required; pending license considered, though license in hand is strongly preferred
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of CVOR experience required
• Guaranteed hours: 70 hours per 2-week period (clinician may be called off for one 10-hour shift per 2-week period)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Alaska RN license already in hand at time of submission
• Prior experience working in a Magnet-designated or Level II Trauma facility
• Flexibility with block scheduling arrangements

• Work at a nationally recognized, Magnet-designated facility ranked among the best hospitals in Alaska
• Scrubs provided and free parking available on-site
