The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in an acute hospital setting. This assignment offers a 13-week duration starting on 10/12/2026, with a focus on providing post-anesthesia recovery care to diverse patient populations. The role involves working day shifts, with variable hours between 0700 and 2300, and requires adherence to a 36-hour minimum work week to support high-quality patient outcomes.

• Schedule:
  
  Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  
  No minimum prior experience required; valid state license in hand (AK RN license preferred, must be obtained within 48 hours for auto-offer);
  
  Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, PALs.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Pediatric experience is preferred; experience with Epic charting system; prior inpatient PACU experience preferred.
• Float:
  Float within scope to meet facility needs may be required.
• Additional Information:
  On-call requirements include one call shift per week, primarily overnight, with some dayshift call shifts. Nurses must be able to respond within 30 minutes of being called; call sleep rooms are available for those who live far away or prefer to stay on site. Call shifts include one Sunday or Saturday night per week. RTO requests are approved on an individual basis upon offer and must be included in submittal.
  
  Open to accommodating block schedules is not available.

  Must include response to whether prior work at a similar facility was completed. References:
  Two references covering at least one year (six months for CNAs) within the last three years are required prior to start.

  Assignments may require floating among nearby facilities. Candidates should not reach out directly to the facility unless scheduled through the assigned contact.
