Summary
This role is for a Registered Nurse responsible for managing the Wound and Foot Care program
. Key duties include performing wound, foot, and toenail care, leading the Wound Care Team, educating staff, collaborating with medical and interdisciplinary teams, and setting facility goals for skin integrity. The nurse will collect and analyze data, evaluate outcomes, and present reports to quality and facility leadership groups.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, an active Alaska RN license, BLS certification, and within one year, certification as a Wound Ostomy Nurse, Wound Care Nurse, Ostomy Care Nurse, or Wound Care Certified Specialist. At least 2 years of healthcare experience is required, with wound care experience preferred.
