American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN for a Magnet, Level II Trauma hospital, requiring an active AK RN license and 2 years of cath lab experience.
Requirements- Active AK RN license required (must be in hand for auto offer; pending license accepted otherwise)
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Proficiency in cath lab skills such as ACT monitoring, sheath removal/monitoring, procedural sedation monitoring, interventional catheterizations, and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
- Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
- Must provide full SSN and DOB for compliance
- Must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility (permanent, travel, or registry/per-diem)
- Work in the Cath Lab unit of an acute care hospital
- 4x10 day shift schedule, 7:00am-5:00pm
- On-call required one day per week plus every 4th/5th weekend (Friday 1800 to Monday 0730)
- Approximately one Saturday per month required as part of scheduled shifts
- May float to EP or IR units within scope
- Uses Epic charting system
- Located in a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma hospital recognized as a USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska
- Scrubs provided by facility
- Free parking available
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
- Former permanent employees may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Only one time-off request permitted per 13-week assignment
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Travelers may be required to float to sister facilities within the state
