Baker, Restaurant​/Food Service

About This Role

Remote fly‑in position located in Denali National Park. All positions at DBL require assisting in other departments. As a Baker you will prepare a wide variety of breads, rolls, pastries and other baked goods. You will work independently for extended periods throughout the day, but will also require you to be flexible and to work as a part of the kitchen staff in order to meet production deadlines and food quality guidelines.

• Bake large quantities of goods
• Maintain standards of safety and sanitation
• Supervise employees and/or other helpers in the preparation of baked goods
• Read and follow recipes

• At least two years of prior culinary experience; a degree in culinary arts or equivalent certification
• Works well under pressure
• Professional communication skills, both oral and written
• Knowledge of food values and nutrition
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

The starting wage for this role is $22.00 per hour.
