As an Ashley Sales Associate, you will assist customers to purchase perfect furniture for their homes.

If you have a great personality and a winning attitude our in-house training will provide the essential knowledge for success.

The Alaska Ashley stores are locally owned. We are part of the Furniture Enterprises family of stores. Our store brands include Sadler’s, Ashley, Williams and Kay, Mattress Firm, Ultimate Mattress, and La Z Boy. Furniture Enterprises of Alaska currently operates 11 stores with more locations opening soon. We have been awarded “BEST PLACES TO WORK” both locally and nationally.

We provide excellent training and advancement opportunities.

You’ll earn $1,680 per pay period guaranteed during your initial 120-day training period. After that you can choose to stay on the guaranteed $1,680 per pay period or earn commissions on your sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome each customer in a sincere and friendly manner.
  • Listen carefully to the customer’s needs.
  • Help customers find the best solutions utilizing our showroom and special-order options.
  • Learn about our products through informative meetings with manufacturer representatives.
  • Be able to inform customers of the products we sell.
  • Help create and present design plans utilizing our in-house Interior Designer
Qualifications
  • Ability to listen and understand the customer’s needs.
  • Succeed in a team environment, yet able to work independently.
  • Ability to learn POS system and general computer programs (email, word processing)
  • Able to be mobile on the showroom floor, frequently walking, bending, sitting, and kneeling.
  • Able to work retail hours including weekends and holidays such as Memorial Day and Labor Day.
  • Pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing and background check.
