Description

$14.00 to $17.00 per hour. Commission up to 8% on transactions, potentially $1.00 per hour on top of hourly rate.

Entry‑level, full‑time retail sales associate in pawn store locations nationwide. Duties include customer service for both lending and retail operations, managing sales floor, processing transactions, and maintaining compliance with policies and regulations.

• Greets and interacts with customers, building rapport and recommending financial solutions.
• Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
• Maintains sales floor cleanliness, stocking, and merchandise displays.
• Processes sales and loan transactions according to policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handles cash and negotiable items per established procedures.
• Answers incoming calls following company standards.
• Communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Collaborates with coworkers and managers to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes assigned training.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to perform tasks for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
• Must be able to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• May assist customers outside the building and retrieve products from exterior storage.
• Minimum age 18.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work in a team‑oriented, customer‑focused environment.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficient basic math skills.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work in multiple locations as required.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

The commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers can earn 2-8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. Details are provided during interview.
