Position Summary
The Sales Outfitter performs various selling and customer service activities, including greeting customers promptly and friendly, handling merchandise, and providing information, assistance, and direction.
Essential Functions- Supports a strong commitment to world‑class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
- Demonstrates product to customers.
- Replenishes product on shelves as required per Merchandising guidelines.
- Remains a product expert through ongoing product knowledge training.
- Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales; maintains pricing and signing.
- Assists with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
- Restocks merchandise as required.
- Keeps work area clean, neat and well stocked with supplies.
- Follows all Company Policies and Procedures.
- Provides a legendary experience for every customer by assisting in making buying decisions via:
- identifying and evaluating customers’ needs
- making product recommendations based on this analysis
- promoting programs including Club Membership, VOC and In‑Store Pick‑up
- All other duties as assigned.
- Minimum Degree
Required:
High School education or equivalent experience.
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change.
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and associates.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers and customers.
- Ability to operate a computerized POS register system.

- Constantly stand and/or walk during shift.
- Occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps.
- Constantly communicate with others.
- Occasionally repeat wrist, hand, finger motions.
- Occasionally operate machinery and/or power tools.
- Occasionally operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment.
- Light work moving objects up to 20 pounds constantly; may occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with a team lift.
- Occasionally work in tight and confined spaces.
- Occasionally work in noisy environments.
- Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
