Part Time Floor Leader - Anchorage

As a Floor Leader, you will support the Store Management Team across all areas of the business. Your role includes driving sales, opening and closing the store, analyzing sales results, and leading training sessions. You will work closely with fellow leaders to ensure operational excellence and an exceptional customer experience.

• Driving Sales: Use the Store Force dashboard to coach and provide feedback to the sales team, adjust the shop floor structure to meet and exceed sales goals, and actively grow sales contributions.

  Deliver world‑class customer service on the shop floor, including product demonstrations and consultations, and strive to exceed daily sales targets.
• Building the Brand: Educate customers on Lush brand values such as fighting animal testing, freshness, ethical buying, 100% vegetarian, handmade, and naked packaging, and promote community engagement initiatives.
• Product Passion: Continuously deepen product knowledge and make informed product recommendations.
• Team Development: Train and coach Sales Ambassadors on sales techniques and product knowledge, provide feedback, and pursue opportunities for growth.
• Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging: Encourage open communication, listen to team perspectives on DEIB, and foster a collaborative environment that values each employee.
• Cash Handling & Store Operations: Manage cash transactions, opening/closing registers, reconciling drawers, preparing deposits, and securing the store. Support bank deposits when required.
• Time & Attendance: Model punctuality and monitor employee breaks to promote a healthy work environment.
• Visual Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
• Stock & Inventory: Train the team on inventory best practices, support management with inventory tasks, and adjust displays based on sales data.
• Policies & Procedures: Ensure compliance with company standards for opening/closing, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health and safety.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service and sales.
• Experience with cash handling and opening/closing procedures.
• Supervisory experience that includes coaching, feedback, and training.
• Problem‑solving skills in day‑to‑day customer service operations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced team environment.
• Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business practices.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Experience with consultation‑based customer service models.
• Experience analyzing sales metrics.
• Experience working in skincare or cosmetics.
• Experience in cross‑cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training.
• Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages.

• Location: Anchorage 5th Avenue
• Pay: $16.50 USD per hour
• Schedule: Part‑time, 20‑29 hours per week (evenings, weekends, and holidays as required)
